This unique PCS Plate Edge Preparation (PEP) System combines 3 gas torches to cut bevels at the same time as cutting the component outline. 3 cutting torches rotate through 360o and a bevelling angle of up to +45o.

- By adjusting the angle of the outside torches, the Land, Bottom and Top bevel can be cut in one pass
- Ability to be retrofitted to existing cutting machines
- Cutting height is fully automatic - the torch height is controlled by an electronic device that follows the contour of the plate
- The PEP system is protected from heat to ensure reliability and accuracy
- Torches are fed with Gasses that are distributed through a rotating teflon-lined manifold. This system provides endless rotation without twisting any cables or hoses
The Oxygen, Fuel and Air chambers in the manifold are separated by unique 'O' rings for greater protection
Construction throughout is prodominantly of stainless steel and aluminum
Gasses are controlled via High Quality solenoid valves with manual torch flame adjustment
Rotation of the PEP Head is provided by a Bosch Rexroth servo motor coupled to a Heavy Duty Gearbox
Controlled by an Indra Drive amplifier interfaced to the CNC controller
